Our Beef
There is no secret to our product, just good quality cattle on good quality pasture.
Grass Finished Beef
Our beeves are harvested each year in the fall at 18 to 20 months of age. For grass-finished beef, fall or early Winter is the best time to have one processed because they are coming off of the green summer pastures and will have the best body condition.
Once the grasses go dormant in the Winter, the feed value drops off significantly, so it requires additional feed and costs to maintain the animal's body condition. We try and keep some animals available during the rest of the year, but they are limited availability.
The animals vary in size, so prices are based on the hanging carcass weight, so you get exactly what you pay for.
Full beef $4.50 per pound hanging weight
1/2 beef $5.00 per pound hanging weight
1/4 beef $6.00 per pound hanging weight
Example: 1/2 beef approximate hanging weight
300 pounds x $5.00 per pound = $1,500 plus processing
Milk Finished Beef
Every year we have some calves that are born early in the year and weaned late and because of that they reach a slightly smaller harvest weight by 10 to 12 months of age. These beeves have been feeding on not only green pastures but also their mother's milk that she made from green pastures. This produces a better body condition and more tender meat and is some of the choicest all-natural, grass-finished beef you can find. These are very limited availability on a first-come, first-served basis.

1/2 beef $6 per pound hanging weight
Example one half beef approximate hanging weight 225 pounds X 6.00= $1,350
